These are Sam's little ducks they are very, very messy. They can make mud out of their pool with in a day. I wish you were in my house right now all my Finches are singing actually competing against the TV. I have several breeds of Finches Zebra Finches, Strawberry Finches, Mannequin Finches, Green Singing Finches. Plus I also have my Canary. While I was in Kamloops a little while ago the birds went on sale and I am so glad I had waited. I have ordered Blue Concord Finches they will try to find me a pair. I would also like to find Gouldian Finches they are amazing Vibrant Colours.
I am inspired I want to build a very cool cage using a Goth theme kind of looking like a Goth Cathedral. I am not sure if I can pull it off but I am scheming!!
I really hope my little birds will have babies. A few years ago I had Zebra finches and they did breed. I gave those birds to my Mother in Law. I would also love to breed canaries. However I am not sure where to find those.
I would love to have an outside aviary. I wonder what I would do in the winter. I will investigate and research it. I am thinking outside would not work.
Well off to dream..scheme.. and try

I hope you are all having a Wonderful weekend! Ours is busy, busy , busy Graduation 2010 in full force. Last night was the ceremony with the graduates receiving their diplomas. Tanisha was #102. I think we should change our name to start with an "A". As usual it was a mad rush for us. My husband had been up since midnight and his allergies are horrible. For him it is like having a full blown cold all the time. It is really horrible. I can hear him whizzing while he breaths as he tries to sleep. Then because his body is so backwards with his crazy hours he can't sleep when he should..etc. Makes for long days and long nights.
We then had our youngest son on a field trip he left at seven am. It was wonderful a friend drove down to the Coast instead of going on the bus and she drove Sam I am back for us in time for the Grad ceremony and pictures.
Tanisha looked so pretty. She was sporting a very nice GOLD CORD as she graduated with honours. She won the Blazers hockey Bursary for $1000.00 plus earlier she won the Merritt Minor Hockey Bursary for $500.00. What perfect awards for her! Tonight is the dance where she wears her pretty dress in Sidney Crosby Colours.

Today I have worked all day and I am worn out. So much to do. Painting, tiling, pipes, animals...the list goes on. Our days are a bit backwards. My husband has been pre-loading so he does not get home until 7:30 or 8:00 at night so our suppers are not really happening. Two kids are tutoring in the evening so that leaves my two youngest. The weather was better today so I managed to get a bit of painting done outside. I am working on a painting project for Fathers day.

These group of photo's were taken last Summer by my friend Nickie. We really did have a wonderful time.
Today I have transplanted one tray of Lavender plugs but I had to give in to a head ache. It is actually quite cool today while I was in the green house I really felt a chill.

Our weather has finally shown it knows it is Summer. Not that I have spent too much time outside. I have been doing both inside work and outside which makes for a long day. I am exhausted. My computer room is done. I just have to clean off my desk, find some new pictures to hang and a few other things to put away. The kids rooms are coming. Miss Hyacinth has her room done now and I am half way on Sam's. Their rooms are small and there is no closets so NO storage space. The bedrooms in the back of the house are not very nice. Well I guess that is okay as they are not very tidy.

Today was a long day we had a track meet. I am so glad the end of the school year is just about here. We were in town all day. Then tonight it was a full night of chores that included watering, planting, feeding, moving pipes. Now it is tea time and bed. I am absolutely exhausted. I will try to take time during the day to write so I am not so tired. Have a wonderful night and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Today I was off to town early to have my hair cut and meet Miss Nana. Then Allan and I made a quick trip to Kamloops. Allan needed something for the truck so he dropped me off at Micheal's then Chapters. We had our quick Triple Berry Fix then home again. We sure do some whirl wind trips. I like those best as I hate to be away from home for too long.
I now need to finish painting my other half of the computer room. I will start that probably Saturday as tomorrow is a track meet day. gosh I hope it warms up for the kids.
Tomorrow Allan is going to drive a loader for someone and our own truck will still sit... way too wet. It is suppose to warm up this weekend so cross your fingers he can haul next week.
If any of you watched the Kamloops news tonight the fire crew on the news was Jordan. He built the little house in the pictures and he was the one you can see putting the hose in the water. We get so excited to see him. Well I am off to get ready for bed and then wait for Miss Nana to call.

Our pool is so cold not even 65 degrees but it did not stop Sam. We have to limit his time in there so he does not freeze. Silly kid. I am sure he will have a cold within a week. I laugh at his outfit. He is an amazing swimmer but on goes all this extra stuff and he find it hard to swim in?? Go figure.
Today I started painting our office. It is hard to get use to I only have the primer on. This primer has a tint we are covering a very dark wall. No one is too sure about it. I will put on one part of the wall and let it sit to see if we like it or not. Of course I may have forgotten to mention it to my husband...good thing he just came home now!
We heard thunder tonight. Today was warmer and during our walk tonight it really was beautiful no wind and I could be in a t-shirt.

Last night I could not get on the blog to put up a post. Just as well we were all in bed before nine pm and it was still bright outside. Yesterday I managed to do an amazing amount of work. Weed-eating, lawn mowing, weeding, planting, walking and visiting with my kids. I really can not believe how the weeds have grown some of them are huge.
Today was a trip to Kamloops with my oldest daughter Miss Nana. We just puttered around and looked in stores we usually never go in. And, then we had our fix Triple Berry at orange julias(not sure on that spelling). Tomorrow I may start to paint my computer room. Gosh I hate painting but no one else is offering so it will be me.
