Have you ever had where something hits you so hard that you didn't even see it coming it sends you for a loop and the next thing you know your sitting on your ass and all you can do is get up give your head a shake and try to keep going while you figure it all out.
Make a promise either today, tomorrow, or this holiday count your blessing find out what is really important to you and tell them or yourself. Make today count., don't wait for tomorrow!

I realized my middle son had to not been in any photo's so just so you know he is not forgotten there he is in the blue sweatshirt. He was rather pleased with himself getting in this photo. These photo's were taken at the arena during a game it was back when my oldest daughter went to her Christmas party.
Tonight we have a Christmas concert at my little kids school, then 3 of the kids have hockey and we have concession duty. Lets hope the snow holds off for a few more days until we can quit traveling and my mom gets home

I am finally unthawing I have sat in the arena from 3pm until 7:50 pm and I am so glad to be home warming up with a cup of tea. Our life is as crazy as ever I think it will be crazy until sat. night then hopefully some down time; I think I will sleep in one day maybe have a day were I do nothing but play I would also like to go and look at Christmas lights.
Today on my way into town I saw a beautiful eagle flying looking for something he was so beautiful it is amazing how graceful he can fly. The kids and I are hoping we will see an eagle on Christmas day when we drive into town to see Grandma.
Have a wonderful night talk to you tomorrow.

Christmas time is approaching very fast and I find it very hard to believe. One more week of school and then a few days of rest I say a few days because hockey does not know to quit and let the kids unwind. We have two tournament over the holidays which I really wish were going to be cancelled. I am all alone everyone is at hockey or at a sleep over so I did a bit of wrapping now I am off to shut this computer down put the puppy to bed and get ready for night. I just received a call from the bus depot that my wool is in from the island so I will go and pick it up tomorrow.

Today was a busy day we headed into town for 9am ran around, my daughter worked picked up my other daughter form school by 10am she phoned already by 9am second day in a row I tell you, you've got to love teenage girls they can be just mean! so lets see what tomorrow brings. Here is my husband in his birthday picture he has been up since 1am, had a stressful morning stuck in the bush wrecked his new chains and his steps on his logging truck but he still humored us while we sang Happy Birthday. He was laughing so hard the camera would not work it was to dark my kids think only the candle lights will do while we sing.
Today was spent by cleaning, wrapping, sorting and I accomplished nothing. We had a birthday cake and gave presents to my husband so the kids enjoyed that and now the excitement continues to climb until December 25. It is amazing how fast the days are going by a shame really it seems so fast we can't enjoy them. Have a wonderful night I am off to wait for kids to get home from hockey.

Tis The Season
Saturday, December 08, 2007
It is very, very cold and I just can't seem to warm up and I can't get the pellet stove to light so if I can't figure it out the kids will have to sleep in the front in front of the wood stove. We have our Christmas tree set up in it's stand so we can decorate it tomorrow. The house is all decorated and quite Christamsy it would not win a contest or or anything but it is still fun.
I was laughing at the goats this morning shivering looking so cold and I told them how can you be cold in Mohair jackets they just looked at me like I was nuts. Well I am going to go work on my scarf.

Today was an organizing day organize Christmas gifts, clean up desk, move animals around and go through paper work and realize I made a HUGE....!!! HUGE...!!!!! HUGE mistake in our bills I sent nearly 6 thousands dollars to the wrong fuel people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Man was I sweating, felt sick, wanted to cry so tomorrow I will phone and explain why they did not get paid and we have a credit at another stupid things is we don't owe anything at the place I paid. I blame it on no time to think, no quiet time and too little of writing on the computer plus I just plain suck at book keeping ... oh man do I hate it. I hate it even more now as I try to fumble my way out of this one. Really no big deal if I had an extra 12000,oo laying around. Needless to say my husband was not overly thrilled but at least he didn't say too much.
Well I am off to read for a bit unstress and go to sleep. I hope if any of you make a mistake it is not as costly as mine.
PS if you go to the link at the side of my blog of our local paper and go to sports section and find where it says building up the miles that is my youngest son when he finishes this card I believe he is at 40 miles or so.

Snow snow and more snow then rain rain and more rain it is over 24 hours since they have plowed our roads.
Watching the bus try to get down the hill from they highway and then make the turn on the bridge made me age 10 years it was awful. I think they have forgotten us out here.
It took us hours to dig out the animals and gates as soon as it was day break we went out. I am absolutely knackered and my arms are sore. Isn't it funny when you write about the moment it just does not seem to be as dramatic as when you are dealing with it but just so you get it, it was bloody awful.
Have a safe evening keep dry and stay off the roads.

Cookie Exchange
Then my husband and dad came and I let my husband drive home our van just could not manage the snow today. Later my husband wanted to go and pick up our kids in town but he could not make it up the hill to the highway actually he could not get off the bridge so he backed up and went out to town the other way and said he went completely sideways up the hill. I think I should hibernate for the rest of winter.

Tomorrow we have to be in town for 8am the girls go out of town for hockey plus we have hockey here. We hope to have time in the morning to find a tree and then it is cookie exchange time should be fun. Have a good weekend I am off to knit on my scarf.
