This is the card and valentine treat I made the other night at a card night. It is fun to attend these night one can learn so many cool ideas.
These are a few of my favorite magazines I love magazines of all kinds.
This weekend was a busy weekend with hockey I really did not go far but my husband and kids did a lot of traveling and my oldest son played a lot of hockey this weekend. I went to Kamloops with my husband and three of my children then today my children ahd three friends over for the day. It was a full day of sledding, snowshoeing, sliding down hills, eating, eating, eating they never quit eating all day! playing cars, hot tubs, making cards.
My middle daughter is organizing an Avid dinner for her High school so we made this little gifts as prizes for a door prize.
We had a lot of fun coming up with ideas. She really puts her heart into these things I wonder if the teachers really appreciate it. She has had a bit of trouble getting any feed back from some of them and some of the kids. However her and her friend have got it quite organized I hope they have fun.

Science Fair Project
This is my youngest son trying to do a science fair project he was so excited and he could not wait to start it....it didn't work....he was so disappointed.
He has been sick for a few days so when he goes back to school on monday he is going ot ask the teacher if he can add something and try something else to compare this project with another one. He would like to keep this one at the same time.
This boy is extremely happy, fun, full of Spirit you just have to like him or in our case love him. Maybe his only fault is he loves to talk talk talk. Imagine my shock when I got a phone call from the school that he is being bullied. Oh my gosh I couldn't even respond it totally was unexpected everyone who meets him likes him anyone of any age. Nothing too serious mainly being pushed out of line ups, pushed off the stairs (where he got hurt) and he even quit the hand ball team. However I do think they have him talked back into staying. Now this guy is amazing strong in good shape he is at 105 miles that he has run at school and could probably drop any of those kids but he really does not have it in unless he is pushed to the limit and then in that case he throws one mean punch and gives his older brother a fat bleeding lip:)
So here we go again ... hopefuly it will go away.

Last night I could not sleep if you paid me. I have been going on 1/2 hour sleep I have been up since 1am. However I have acccomplished lots. Actually I am quite pleased with myself. Can you believe it was raining today that is so crazy we go from freezing to that.
We went to Kamloops this afternoon and picked up my MIA files on the truck then stopped at Micheals and Chapters, bought bread and came home.
In my no sleep state last night I decided I am going to make a purse so now to plan it out, I think I will go cream colours with differnt yarns, satin ribbons and I think I will make it on a loom.

Today I cleaned out our kidding barn we are starting to get ready for kidding to start at the end of the month. I hope it warms up and I hope it goes smooth. Our gates are a night mare I need to raise them but anyone who raises goats knows the gates need to be close to the ground.
Our big fat dog was left behind in the barn this morning and she was walking around the pen looking for a way to get out and teh baby Alpaca's were so scared. It was quite cute when I went to let her out the babies were humming. Last week I lost our smallest Alpaca it was really sad she was very cute.
Today was a hockey day my oldest son won his first play off game in Summerland, my youngest daughter won her game in Chase and she got two goals. It is funny she really did not want to go but decided to at the last minute and had fun. She was scared to play some of the older girls. My two girls lost their game in Osooyous (do not know how to spell that) it was sad a boy on their team broke his arm and had to go into surgery tonight. Poor guy I bet he was scared.
Well must go to bed full hockey tomorrow we leave home by 7am and I have been given orders to be there with my camera from my pushy older son who thinks he and his team mates all standing in line for O CANADA with Mohawks is worth a photo.
Spell check has not been working for the last few posts so if it does not make sense sorry!

Today we were in town and seem to accomplish quite a bit it is really amazing how fast the days go by. Now it is 8pm and I am extremely tired I can hardly stay awake but we have hockey until 10:45 so it won't be an early night. I may not be able to publish this post as my scanner wants to do a virus scan. We have a full weekend of hockey again so I may not get time to write. I am nearly finished my scarf if I can stay awake long enough I should be able to finish it tonight or if not tomorrrow. Then onto a new project. It has warmed up but it is still chilly. We had to have our fire off today so we could clean it and our house cools down real fast. Yesterday we had a lot of trouble with the fire it was sending out piles of thick black smoke the kind that burns your throat, it sent off both fire alarms. We are burning real pitchy wood and it made thick black like cob webs all inside the wood stove so we tried to clean out some last night but it was still hot and today I cleaned the rest. I bought one of those logs that is suppose to clean out the stove and chimney. So I hope it did what it is suppose to.
