Roosters. Very beautiful Roosters!

This is one of the boys roosters he is very handsome

Look at him showing off swishing his tail. My three boys and their dad built a run on the boys chicken house. The chickens are so happy. It is a little rough looking but with some paint it will be quite lovely. We always seem to build things out of older recycled wood. So it has a redneck appeal. I am quite proud of the boys for doing it. I do think it is quite cute. The chicken house took up the majority of the day. I worked on our back room I am winning. The girls baked caught up on their homework. It was quite a productive day.
Yesterday we went to Kelowna for the day. I have many pictures to share with you all so over the next few days I will post them.

My little yodeler. Our little bird sings so nicely. Here he is in his new cage. This way we can wheel him into the bathroom and shut the door when we are away. His life is so much like Tweety and Sylvester!

This is my husbands ping pong table. We bought it for him for Christmas. However he just set it up. Now all we need is some warm weather so we can enjoy being outside. It is pretty chilly out tonight. I hope my babies find their heat lamps. Today the day never really went as planned at all. There were loops thrown in all day. I am absolutely knackered tonight. So I am off to have tea and call it a night.

Friends

I am not too sure if I have posted these pictures but enjoy them anyway. We were quite busy as usual. The day started with chores, then off to school. Then Savannah, Jordan and I went to the track to practice Jords time for fire fighting. We did twelve laps. We stayed in town because the kids were out of school at eleven thirty. We then came home painted, cleaned up the barn and the boys built their chicken house. I will write more later I am having too many stories told to me.

A great cuckoo clock. Unfortunately it is a chicken that comes out and clucks. I did not mention this clock to my husband however how he missed it we will never know. Anyways my husband and his brother were having a visit over Easter. When then my clock went off well they both jumped up and Allan (my husband) said Hey Rob there is a chicken in here. They started looking around. I was already in bed. When I heard that I laughed so hard because in our house you could easily find a chicken having a visit.
Today I went into town to walk with my daughter and my oldest son joined us. He goes to boot camp next weekend for ten days for fire fighting. He walked five km with a back pack full of hand weights weighing forty eight pounds. He did well. He really is amazing.
I am quite tired so I am off to bed.

Posing on our awesome rock. The girls are doing their Lulu lemon pose!

We were having so much fun but laughing way too much.

Yesterday my two youngest went to the carnival with their friends. Nish had soccer and Dalt and I had to go to Kamloops to pick up my husband. Our logging truck is broke down again.
If this part they put is not under warranty our bill will be nearly or over 10,000. We will find out today. The part we had fixed was done by their mechanic and they truck only moved for two hours to dump the load so we are hoping!!! Not a good thing to go into break up with.
I am painting Tanisha's old room and all our exercise equipment will go in there. One wall is bright red the rest will be cream. I would like to do something with the floor. I am not sure what though. I would like that foam stuff they put down on children's play rooms or exercise rooms. I have a feeling it will be too expensive for now.
well my paint is waiting talk to you all soon

Baby Girls

Three sisters Our Girls are the first two and the last one with gray hair is Savannah and Jeremy's. First one is Star, second one is Candy and the last one is Roxy. They really play quite nicely. The middle one can have a little attitude sometimes when she is getting cuddled. Roxy is very busy maybe a little bad. Then Miss Star is probably if we really analyzed she is a little more mellower.
They really are a lot of fun.
Today Miss Hyacinth and I went into town for a walk with Savannah. Then Hyacinth stayed in town for the day with Savannah. Allan and I went in to get her just before Savannah had to go to work. They went to Walmart and bought flowers, water cane and garden tools. then they planted some Pansy's and solar lights. It is so exciting to see Savannah getting to set up her home. Her and Jeremy really are lucky to have such lovely stuff.

Decorations in our home

We had a lovely day. It was full of laughter, playing, hunting and relaxing. Easter Bunny made a visit to our front yard while the kids were off having a walk. There was eggs and tons of chocolate to be found.
The afternoon was spent playing ping pong, hockey, baseball, bike riding and walks. Then we went over to Mom and Dads for a nice dinner. I hope all of you had a wonderful day and you took the time to make some very special memories.

Cold Nights

Our nights are still getting cold. Here is a picture of just few of the babies sleeping under the heat lamp. They seem to be doing okay a few of them we are watching. One is blind but if he makes it I am sure it will clear up. The worst thing is his Mom goes off to eat and forgets to take them. So the Mom and her two babies have to stay in a stall in the barn. That is okay for the babies but not a lot of fun for the Mom. He poor little guy seemed a bit week tonight. I may have to make him into a bottle baby... I do not want to do that.

Clean Front Yard

We have worked until we can't work any more. The term sore just doesn't say how we really feel. For weeks now I have been working on our front yard. I have one spot where the darn wind brought in a bunch of pine needles. I am so ready for Easter Bunny to hop our way.

I am totally unhappy with my pond. I decided to close in the top half. It broke my heart to do it but we need a two hundred dollar or more pump to run the water fall. So far every year we have had to replace the pump. It is just too expensive. Plus we lost a dog in the pond last fall. So with it being smaller scale we should be able to monitor it better.

Last night my phone rang at 2am from my husband that he was broke down. So I had to go into Lower Nicola to meet him. I was so tired as I had been woken up already three times. I could hardly drive I could only look straight in front of the van to drive:) Then to top it off the whole way it I kept thinking MAN I hope I did not dream it... Then I came home climbed into bed for a bit before I headed outside to do chores. After I drove my kids to school I met Nana for our walk. We then came out and worked on the pond all day.
So since I can hardly move. My knees hurt so bad from the big rocks. My back hurts from lifting I am off to find Tylenol and go to bed. I wonder if tonight will be more peaceful...

This amazing little gadget tells me how fast the wind is blowing. Sends off a warning signal if the gust get too strong. Tells me the temp inside and out. I love it. I absolutely love the weather. Granted if I lived with hurricanes and tornadoes I would not like it so much.
Today I worked some more on the pond. It is hard heavy work plus very smelly. I closed in the top pond and will just concentrate on the larger one and keep only one open.
I can not believe how many rocks I brought into my yard. Stupid...Stupid...Stupid. The top part is going to be like a bog. I am quite tired just waiting on my husband to get up for work then I will go to bed. Talk to you all soon.

There was a storm brewing
This picture was taken facing towards town. Then about ten minutes later I took it again. The first one was really dark then it went to gray. It blew in a rain storm in then it turned to snow. These pictures were taken a few days ago.

Today I worked outside all day. I did a lot of work but it is never ending. I wish I could wave a magic wand and it would all be done. Or better yet win the lottery and hire someone to help. I think the goats enjoyed the warmer day however the day started out pretty rough.
Easter weekend coming up. Is anybody doing anything fun? I hope The Ole rabbit hops on by our way. We also hope to take the kids to the Hanna Montana movie.

We had a nice day in Kamloops. Asked a few questions at Future shop about our computer. Windows Vista is not user friendly. I also received my mini computer back. I will now get it ready for Maui so I can keep in touch with my family.
I am not sure what I will do first tomorrow work outside or do house work or go for a walk. With any luck I will get all three done.
Good Morning
I did not have to go outside last night. What a wonderful feeling. I did not post a note to you last night as I only had two boys home. We fed them ice cream they watched TV with their Dad and then we started a puzzle. I love puzzles just hate how they take up my kitchen table. So we never really do them. We bought this one in the dollar store of kittens . Very Cute. Just for the record I don't think this dollar store knows the meaning of DOLLAR!
We are off to Kamloops today Miss Hyacinth is over there with friends. They are going to the mall and maybe a movie while the parents go to their son's hockey tournament. So I will hang out near the theatre if she goes. I don't like her on her own. They all have cell phones but I don't trust anyone near these girls. Too many weird people out their now. So on that note I must go to the barn.

Today on our walk (which I might add we did quite fast) we saw a huge wood pecker. He was a wood pecker on steroids. He really was quite lovely. The Wood peckers had a lovely patch of bright red. It truly is amazing some of the magnificent natural beautiful things about. We also see some very fat Robins. They are so fat we do not know how they can fly. The Robins look like the have stuffed them selves with worms.
We are trying to walk either every day or at least several times a week. We are doing this to get ready for our walk in 22 days...!!!!
Last night I went outside every two hours and I am absolutely knackered. Finally this morning the goat had. Slow she was slower than molasses in the middle of winter.
One more to have. I really Hope she waits until morning I am very tired.
Every time I went outside it was snowing last night. I just do not get this weather. I don't understand what is happening it is absolutely miserable.
I am just finishing up my books for Gst and Wcb time. I hate sitting here doing books but I am nearly finished. I won't do anymore tonight as I am too tired and I usually screw up. I actually mess up when I am not tired:) I have not been fired yet ...darn it...
Well I am off outside talk to you all soon

This is what you do after a full night of work. Work on your truck. It seems to be never ending. It amazes me how good his patience's are. We are waiting on our last goats now. One is in labour now. Man do they drag it out. All I want to do is go to bed. I will be glad when I am finished. I don't know why but it seems much more dragged out and I am finished and want it done.
Today my oldest daughter came out and we worked on my middle daughters room all day. It turned out really nice. I am off outside I will write more tomorrow.
