An amazing morning
There is beauty all around me today.
Funny how some days you wake up and everything is beautiful or everything needs it picture taken.
That is how this morning has been.
Today is wet dreary, gray, misty in the mountains but it is screaming Take My Picture!
Our front yard is a deep rich green this morning and full, full of leaves with a smidgen of colour from the lilacs.
On our way to the bus which by the way we had to race off to because I was taken to the side - to video the front yard.
Where we park our truck down at the bottom Ranch and wait for the bus there is a whole herd of black cattle. In between two very green trees you can peek at the cows.
It really was beautiful.
Of course no camera but I did have a video camera.
I am wondering if I can take still shots off my video.
The mountains are amazing with some snow still in the distance but a mist/fog washing over parts. Ahh it was lovely and really wish you could have seen it with me.
Now I am off to visit Mom and Dad and have a coffee before chores.
Please take the time today to look around at the beauty the simplest thing is a picture waiting to be taken.

We had a couple of very warm days over a 100 degrees on the deck. Today is a bit gray little bit cooler we are suppose to be getting rain by the afternoon.
So after I write this I will go out and do some more work.
I did not sleep last night ahh I get so frustrated.
I was in bed before eight thirty then up at three am with a splitting headache. So I found a Tylenol one left in my bathroom and I was so not trying to make my way to the kitchen for more. Washed with ice cold water, remade my bed, fluffed pillows, sprayed Lavender water all over my bed. Then I layed very carefully on my pillow. I finally fell asleep after three thirty with the light on until my daughter phoned at five fifty in the morning.
So are you not glad you do not have my wonderful nights?
We had a new baby born on the farm. A little tiny girl. She is very cute, very dainty. That makes us done now for awhile. Maybe some by the end of summer.

I just walked down to the river with a hound dog.
We wanted to see if it came up any higher since we had a nicer day. No real change. It is high and fast but I have for sure it a lot higher.
We are suppose to be having a very warm weekend and I can not wait. I hope summer is going to find us soon.
Our new little goat is doing fine. He is big and thick looks like he is going to be a good size. He is white with a red head.
We do not have too much planned this weekend. I do hope I can sleep in a bit. I seem to be in a habit of waking up at sunrise and really not too sure why.

Blossoms in the garden.
This year on our Apricote tree it has many little fruits.
Last year we only had three and we missed them! Quite exciting.
Yesterday I set 18 peacock eggs. In ten days we will check them and check to see if they are fertile. I really hope they are.
How cool will that be to have a bunch of baby Peacocks!!!

These two babies can run as fast as the wind. Which they get from their daddy.
He is fast and that is his name "Fast as the wind"
Today these little ones were racing all over the field. They seem quite happy and full of life.
We can not put the sprinklers on at night as the Mom's will not move and they sleep with the water hitting them every round.
Not very bright are they?
Well go on and watch the Canucks game it is to start in a few minutes.
Wish them Luck!!!
YEAH GO CANUCKS!!!!
Go Canada

An amazing thunder storm yesterday. It traveled right near us.
I worked on a Lavender garden all morning. It was very hard work horrible hard soil, it made me sweat. I finished it in time for the storm.
I am so winning on the gardens but man oh man are they in rough shape.
Today I planted sunflower seeds in between the Lavender. I have some herbs in pots. Tomatoes are planted in the green house.
Today I hope to plant a bit at the gate. I have to plant something cow hate to eat. Ahh I hope those darn cows choke on a stem.
I feel so sorry for our neighbors they wake up each morning to Black cows in their yard! Cows that are not theirs. And, oh how they love their lilac trees...
This morning while working outside I was full of inspiration. Funny how it hits then Bam gone I This time I did go into the little Lavender house and take some notes.
It is funny how inspiration finds me. This time it was a cream coloured Rabbit with a floppy ear. He loves to nibble the soft green grass when I open the cage to feed him and his partners. His buddies are Guinea hens he is in disgrace and was kicked out of the bunny pen.
I am off to do more farm work. Have a wonderful day get outside and enjoy it.

Another wet morning I think I can hear the trees drinking up the rain.
The rain has made some of the lavender perk up quite nicely.
Today while doing chores I could hear the doves cooing. It was very peaceful.
We have three goats to have little ones in the next few weeks. The baby lambs are growing like weeds.
I bought a molasses block for the Ewes and they sure do love it. I think it is like candy to them.
Today is a turtle day. My son has a gift card to buy a turtle so today is the day we going find SPLASH.
I am told that is what his name is going to be.
Have the most amazing wonderful day ever! Do something fun, take pictures, make memories.
YEAH FOR SATURDAYS!

Can you see the little fish. I would like to find a fish like this for my fish tank.
I am hoping to pick up feeder fish for our little pond so they can eat any mosquitos that want to hatch.
We have had a fair amount of rain since I have been home. Yesterday was so chilly that I had the fire going.
Rather depressing we need some sunshine I wonder if this Spring will go in the record book for being so miserable.
I have planted a few things out in the yard and I was so sure it was going to freeze last night it did drop down to below 2 above.
Well I am off have the most wonderful, amazing day!
