This was a great shell but we could not pick it and take it some little guy was in it.

Here is the sausage tree
Today we did not have a nice flight back to Maui. Bloody awful. I just put a magazine over my face and breathed very deeply. It was just awful shaking bouncing sideways. I hate flying. I want you to picture my eight passenger van with wings. That was our plane. The sad thing is I have to do it again to go home. I am not flying from Maui.

This is a Hawaiian King

Mom holding a sausage from the sausage tree

Driving down the road to our Hotel. Everywhere else is black lava

This is the siren they use to warn of emergency. Like a tsunami. There is a lot of these around

Rolling waves

The water was quite deep and rough here

We saw turkeys like these a few times. I guess they do not have Bobcats here

These little kids were making some wonderful bubbles

I loved these old posts stuck in the lava and sand

This is what these poor people breath. It is VOG from the volcano.

This is a little unnerving...

We at first walked right by these guys. They were very cool. They are faster than you think. I was quite happy to see these guys

We are back from the Big Island of Hawaii. It is pretty crazy over there. If I did not know any better I would have thought I had landed on the moon. OMG for lava rock huge huge huge amounts of lava. It looks like piles and piles of chewed up pavement. Amazing unreal. We seen turtles out in the wild. They are lovely little creatures. We saw some very happy dolphins.

Look at this poor koi doesn't he look like he is saying Help just get me out of this crowd.

Outside the Japanese restaurant at the Hilton. I just figured it out this morning (from Konrad) this is the same line of hotels owned by Paris's Hilton's family. It takes awhile for me to figure these things out. No wonder she drives around in fancy little cars... it is so expensive.

Look at this happy face. Couldn't you just give her a great big hug

I am off today. I am taking the computer just not too sure if I will have internet service.
Today is another nice day. We really have had nice weather. So far we only had rain for about 15 minutes later at night.
I have not been spending too much time at the beach. I am not a swimmer.

I may not be able to post for the next few days. I am off to the big island tomorrow. I may take my very cute pink lap top but I do not know if I will be able to use it. If you don't hear from me I will be back Wednesday afternoon our time here.
Tonight I am off to dinner at Heide's and Konrad's restaurant. It is very warm here today. A lot of people are at the pool. Mom is at the pool right now. I went for a bit of a walk but there is really no beach the ocean is right up this afternoon. The ocean she is just a grumbling out there. She has one aim to get me wet.

These are poinsettias that I guess just bloom beautiful in their winter months

You can eat outside except it was bloody cold
This is the fireplace they cook their pizza in. We stood next to it to warm up

This is the neighbors who constantly complain on the poor little INN. It is a good thing they have cute trees.

I love these pointy little trees. They look like they were planted so even. Obviously I did not plant them.
