Party time
Tanisha's birthday party with her friends

This was taken right after Jordan blew out some of her candles. He made them sing to him also. In case you don't both kids are born on the same day.

This is what I have been working on in my spare time. I had to put the wicker shelves together as they all came in pieces. Once I got going on them it was not too bad. Mind some of the drawers are a little crooked. I will just pretend they are antiques.

We the extra wicker cupboards it means I can have less under the sink. So now if any mice come in I know!!! Those mice do not stand a chance.
The white rub on by the bath tub was horrible to do. It took me forever. I love it though. It is a dandelion blowing in the wind. Very cute.
The french writing one with the Eiffel tower was easier. Then Allan put me up an Antique cream coloured shelf. It was actaully amazing, how many swear words went up with that little shelf:) Mind you it could have been that he had been up since midnight. Now lets hope my kids keep it clean.

What an amazing busy day I had today. So much accomplished. I love it when I get a lot done. I sorted, moved, stacked cleaned, washed inside the house and outside. I can now park the truck under the carport. We have toys there. Ping pong table, basket ball net, punching bags are all put away for winter now. Wood shed cleared out on one side now we can bring in the fire wood. I love it when the wood shed is full.
My bathroom is getting finished also. I have changed it, removed pictures changed shelves and cupboards. I just have to put on the wall rubbings.
I am ready for the birthday party tomorrow. Table set, house cleaned, food bought. Then I will get organized for Thanks giving.
I am really tired now so I should head to bed. It is amazing how quick morning comes. Have a good night and I will talk to you all soon.

Watching The Lion King. During our birthday dinner the other night the kids all watched this show. My older kids grew up watching this but Sam has missed out. I told the kids after my oldest son wanted to watch the Lion King we need to pull out all the Disney Movies. It was so much fun to see them watch it and laugh then break out in song.
Today I helped Jordan with some fire wood not too much as I had to go to town, He has quite a bit cut now. So we had better get it in the wood shed. It is actually amazing how fast we burn it. The wood stove is the only way we heat our house up front. Then at the back of the house we heat with a pellet stove. Winter is creeping in closer. I love snow at Christmas but I could do with out the bad roads.
Tonight I took Sam to hockey. Then I ran to Wal Mart to buy stuff... more stuff for Tanisha's birthday part with her friends. Our birthdays go on and on and on.
Well I am off to find my bed. Have a good night and talk to you all soon

Working on his knee
Today has been a full day of hockey for the kids and Allan. I did not go to the arena. Allan left at 9:15am and he is still not home yet.
Today I baked carrot cake muffins with cream cheese icing. Then I made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Worked on my bathroom sorting changing it and cleaning it.
We took the time to go for a walk to the river.
It froze quite hard this morning. It was very, very chilly.
Other than food I did not do anything creative. I just do not have the time right now or the ambition.
Well I am off to go to bed have a good night and talk to you all soon.

Today was dealt with by paying bills, sorting my desk. I seem to do that a lot don't I. The desk seems to be where all the papers get put. I have to sort often.
I have had the fire going for on and off for three days now. The cold is starting to settle. We woke up to rain. Rain we so needed.
I had an appointment for our new truck which dragged on for ages. The dealership is so busy they are all running around. We set up our On-star. Do you know what that is? It is crazy. Kind of scary! I hope I don't accidentally push a button. You could make a scary movie about your vehicle talking to you...
We have a fair amount of hockey this weekend. I will only watch a little of a game. My nerves are too bad to watch my goalie. Maybe his first game. I am not a hundred percent he is playing. however don't worry we are already down for the concession. Twice tomorrow...HMMM I love hockey.
I hope to be creative and make something wonderful. I am just not sure what it is going to be yet. When I figure it out and start I will take pictures and show you.

I am not sure what to do my computer thinks it is an Apple. Seriously it is acting like one. I think I am going to have to take it in. I might phone over to Kamloops and ask them what it means.

Cabbage, anyone for sauerkraut(not too sure on that spelling) or cabbage rolls
Our weather is cooling off. However we are still very very dry. Our one neighbor has been burning her big piles of pine needles. WHY! does she not see how dry we are. Gosh it is hard to believe what goes through peoples heads. We have had no rain that has amounted to anything. We are dry surrounded by dead pine beetle trees...

That sure is a lot of beets to eat.

What a long day. My day started at five am to shower, coffee, chores and get the kids off to school. I had to have my kids arranged to be picked up from school. We have arranged birthdays etc. Then an arrangement to hockey. I needed to be ready in case I did not come home tonight. Then we bought a new truck and they had forgot to phone us the night before. So it was a mad rush to get it finalized everything switched over. Then ICBC but I needed Allan so he had to get into dump his load. All of this and I had to leave at the latest eleven am. Seriously I actually had the car dealership running and ICBC flying. We were all so stressed out. I swear Nish and I have ulcers. Poor Allan was stressing having us drive over, snow, no vehicle ready, and we had to be on time. Soooooo after all this we are heading out of town my cell rings. Court was cancelled. It was dealt with out of court. So Tanisha was bouncing happy smiling. Me I was relieved stressed.....all that. All that stress for three years for what!!!!!! jerks. Actually I am really happy Tanisha did not have to go through with it.
We did have a visit with Savannah and then I ended up taking Tanisha to Kamloops to shop with her birthday money.
Now I need sleep and a peaceful night.
I think I will light the fire and take the chill of the house and make tea.

I hope you both have exciting wonderful lives. Full of hope, dreams and love.
I can not tell you in enough words how much I love you both. Grow up strong, be safe, caring. I know you both have a lot to offer our world. And our world is such a better place with you!!!!
Make good choices, DREAM, SING, DANCE, HOPE, have FAITH. And above all love yourself. I love you both have an incredible Day

More Birthday dinner. I am not sure why my boys have beautiful smiles but they won't show it when I bring out the camera. All my children have wonderful smiles. They all have their Dad's smile.

We had an early birthday dinner for Tanisha and Jordan. We ate ham, Caesar salad, perogies, (I do not know if that is how you spell that) carrots, beets, orange juice punch, apple crisp, and Oreo birthday cake. It was a very good meal.
We had Allan's Mom and my Dad join us. Earlier in the day we rented the ice for an hour. So it was a good day.
Today was such a cold morning -4 at 7am. Our house was so cold. I froze all day. It never warmed up in here. I had to stay close to the house as I was dealing with phone calls all day. We are in court Wednesday. I will be so happy for Tanisha when it is all done.
I have been quite organized. I am quite up to date on my books. Desk is sorted. House is clean. Laundry is all caught up. Now I need to work outside under the carport because to have a clean house it has to go some where.
in the next two weeks get everything that has to go away for winter and just do it.
Well I am off have a good night.
