This was Master Samuel at his Christmas concert. I cropped out the other kids as I did not have permission to put them up in Cyber space. It is a beautiful day outside sun is shining it could be a summers day minus the snow on the ground. I talked to Jordan. He is happy he was visiting with his friend and his family he is staying with. He had a good game last night. I talked with Savannah she is happy. Jeremy is on his way home. It is amazing how when all my kids are happy how it affects me. When I know all is well with them my life feels lighter and all is good. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
In another persons blog I read a wonderful write up about Christmas. It felt so right. If only the world could just get it. Make wonderful memories, make things sparkle with excitement. Good secrets, fairies, Santa, Baby Jesus, Mary, Joesph, The bright star.... so much. Be thankful even if things are tough we all have some good memories. Go with that and it will start and warm you.
I hope I will always have my good memories to Carry on with me. Again Thank you. Everyone of you who has made me who I am. Thank you

Sun shining brightly. cold very, very cold. It has warmed though. Yesterday was a long day. My husband did not come home on usual time from work which can happen with his job. However it was getting later and we were kind of getting worried. So I phoned my brother in who is also a logging truck driver to see if he had heard from him. Right when I was talking my husband phoned. He was having troubles with his truck trailer's. He was out until after eleven pm and at that point he had been going on for 24 hours. My middle son went out on and off in the night to help. However there is not a whole lot anyone of us can do. Except moral support sent out hot chocolate... stayed awake until he came in ....kept the fire going...felt sorry for myself :) because I could hardly stay awake...:) :)
I know I have it so rough
Today I have cleaned, dusted, finished decorating removed the ornament boxes. Mainly general tiding up.

Today has been cold, cold, cold. However it is trying to warm up we have warmed up to -16. So does that mean snow. Ahh that is all we need. My poor husband is outside trying to fix his truck right now. Damn thing it has one aim in life NOT TO WORK... Lets just hope it is the cold. Something to do with the fifth wheel which I might we are still paying the bill from rebuilding it.
On a good note I am counting the days until Christmas holidays. Yeah I can not wait until we do not have to rush for a few days. Well I am off to get ready for the night. Have a good evening and Pleasant dreams!

CAN YOU SEE THE BEAR PRINTS?
I am thinking I should start baking soon. Maybe today or tomorrow. However I have a terrible weakness for shortbread cookies. I absolutely love them.
Yesterday in Kamloops I took in Miss Lulu's spay certificate and I now have a $50.00 gift receipt. I did not use I was done shopping. I would like to save it until after Christmas. Dalton really wants a turtle...Maybe I might. Hmmm not sure though.
I have been worrying about my son. He went head first into the boards in Campbell River at a home game. He thinks he was knocked out for a minute. He was confused, major headache, rubbery legs. I was stressed then I thought ... just a minute he phoned home and talked to his Mom ... he remembers me ... that's is all that matters... he can go on Face book ...yup he is okay. He still has not driven his truck yet. You do know there is something said for kids who play chess, read sit on the computers...

This is at the bottom of a very long steep switch back that my husband has to drive over several times a day. This is Way out in the bush. I honestly could not do that job. My nerves were shot yesterday just going to Kamloops to Christmas shop.
The other day in town I saw two cars with awesome stickers on the back. I actually think they were car magnets. They were of Mary, Joseph, the baby in a stable. They were white. I SO WANT ONE!!!! I LOVED IT.

Today is my husbands birthday. We all had dinner together at home then my Mom and Dad came over for dessert. Then they all made a mad dash for hockey. On my way into town tonight I had to pull over for four police cars with full flashing lights. They were heading out our way. That is so unnerving. I really hate that. I could never live in town I would be constantly listening for the ambulance, police cars or fire trucks.
I think I am winning on my wrapping. I will do some baking next week. I really would like to have all my little jobs done that I need to do. Then I can relax with the kids before the holidays.

Wrapping presents, making chocolate, watching Christmas shows, going to dances, attending our very last Elementary Christmas Concert, kids going for dinner. A very busy life we are having. Sam had a very short and sweet concert only 45 minutes long. Which for us that is perfect as Allan has to work at 11:30 tonight. I only have Sam home tonight which is kinda weird.
Tomorrow is my husbands birthday. I have not even had time to bake a cake but I still have tomorrow while he is at work.
Today at my youngest son's school a boy dialed 911 from the extra phone. It caused all kinds of stress for the school. Four police cars and one police truck two police offers in each vehicle... and nothing wrong prank call.... Man I be that poor kids is in trouble. I am so glad mine was far away from it all. He was in the field playing soccer. I did however have a good talk with mine so he knows how serious it is to use 911 if nothing is wrong. I think actually it will have been a good lesson for all the kids at the school. So I am off to check dogs it is still getting very cold here at night.
Poor Miss LULU has been spayed I am now 368.00 short. Man I so should have been a vet...She seems to be doing well it has not slowed her down at all. She is now the proud owner of a very large dollar sign.

Today was used up by wrapping. I hope to do more tomorrow. I have to run into town and take Miss Lulu to be spayed. I need to grab some wrapping paper then come home. I hope to start some baking after I get this week done. I am pretty busy so I hope to bake all next week.
I am so tired right now. This putting wood in the fire makes me exhausted. It is still very cold. I can not believe how fast the time is going. It is almost Christmas. I feel like life is in fast forward. I don't imagine I will do any crafts until after Christmas.
I am off to fill the wood stove and find my bed. Have a good night.

Have a wonderful day on this -20 morning. Cold it is and suppose to last for a couple of days. We will need to stay close to home to keep the fire going. No fire means frozen pipes. I will run to town this morning then come home and off to hockey tonight. Have a pleasant day.

Today was spent cleaning, sorting and making a space for our Christmas tree. Tanisha baked cookies, we had Christmas music and Christmas shows. It was a fun night. The kids also made a ginger bread house and a ginger bread train. I made some chocolates sprinkled with candy cane. It is to be a cold night. I must set my alarm for in the night to put wood in the fire. Gosh I hope I don't sleep through my alarm clock. I did that the other night.

Tis The Season

What a wonderful day we had. First we did not rush off to hockey or driving lessons at the crack of dawn. We headed out to the bush where Allan hauls from to look for our Christmas tree. We laughed, we sang, we told stories. We were so loud. So there was no worry of running into any wildlife. It was still cold out there even with the sun shining -8. We hiked into a lake. It was hard to walk in the snow and we were so loud. A Very, Very beautiful Province we live in.
We then made it back in time for Nana to go to work and for Dalts and Nish's hockey game. I did not go back into town. Allan is going to go to Nans to set up her tree. She is very excited her first Christmas tree.

Today was the volleyball tournament. We had to leave early as Sam hurt is arm. He could not move it until after four pm. We then picked up the kids from school. Did a quick Wal mart run then dropped off Nish at her concession duty. While we waited for her we had a visit with Nana. Then it was nice we did not have to go any where tonight. Mind you we did not get home until after six thirty.
All in all it was a good day.
Tomorrow we are going to get our Christmas tree. We are very excited.
Tonight is Jords first game in Campbell River. I think it caught him off guard as he only arrived yesterday. So here he goes jumping in with two feet. I wish him luck and hope he is happy. He will be home at Christmas so it is not too long for him to be away.
Well I am just waiting for Jords phone call then I am off to bed. So have a good night.

Miss Lulu is going in to get spayed on Wednesday. If I could find her a cute boy to have puppies I would let her have one batch. However I refuse to let those two dogs that chase my truck in the mornings come near her. I would pick her a cute poodle. Gosh doesn't she look happy.
I am becoming so brave. I am a much braver Mom. I am learning to say goodbye with out snively alllllll day. I did however have to swallow the lump in my throat and tune it out as he drove away...again....It is still really hard to watch him leave. I did say a quick prayer and ask for someone to ride shot gun. So I know he is not alone. I tell you this growing up is so hard to do. I actually thinking of putting my foot down and refuse to let any more of them leave home :)
Our weather has warmed up some. I did hear it is suppose to get very, very cold.
I started wrapping my presents today. I am not very good a it. They look bloody awful. Every year I think this year they will look like the magazine. Well NOPE!! not this year.
I am off have a good night.

Sam reminds me of the neighbor off of Tim The Tool Man Taylor... Wilson

The weather has changed it is getting colder. Funny how the weather has been this year.
Today I spent most of the morning cleaning out the pantry, cleaning out cupboards. Isn't it funny how when you clean one spot you have to make a mess somewhere else. Then I went to town to pick up pellets for the stove and picked the kids up from school. Tonight at hockey I just waited in the truck too cold for me.
I am trying to stay up until Midnight so I can wake my husband but I am sooo tired. He has to got to work at twelve. The night before he was so choked he slept in until one thirty. So I am on wake up duty.
