Busy day.
Temperature has turned very cold. Funny how it can go from one extreme to another.
Had a quick trip to town for a hair cut. Then just hung out at home did chores visited my son, his girlfriend and two of my girls. Then my son left for the Island again.
I just down loaded a new app for my phone and I can't wait to try it out tomorrow. It looks like it will be a lot of for taking pictures.

Ice time not snow time here.
I really enjoy seeing the kids playing not having to run to hockey or do homework.
We sure did have a fun time. Way too quick though.

Our truck heading off into the night to witness the amazing Lunar Eclipse. I had told my husband I had wanted to come to work to look for the wild horses in the full moon... and do you want to know what he said! " I will leave you at 2k" I guess I stress him out being scared of the roads....

Happy Winter Solstice

Ahh what an amazing time. Winter Solstice, Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse, and Meteor Shower.
What wishes did you make?
What are your plans to celebrate!!
Think , DO, Now!!

We made pine cone bird seed feed for the wild birds. We stayed up to watch the eclipse (Which by the way I am kind of regretting as I am soo tired.
We will skate today and I am will knit a craft to celebrate. I will use white with amazing yarn, silks and ribbons.

First day of holidays. Busy day cleaning, walking dogs, baking, icing up the rink and snow. My husband did the hockey and most of my family is on the highways. It is going to be one long night. My oldest son is on his way home as I write. It has been a couple of months since I have seen him. I just wish he would not travel at night.
It really did not warm up too much here today.
I am off to do something creative. I am trying so hard to stay awake. Have a wonderful evening.

We are so organized for Christmas. The tree is up, the house is decorated, enough cookies baked if I decide I am done. The yard is decorated in nice festive bows and red ornaments. We have snow and some very dangerous ice. We have Christmas movies and music. All we need now is my oldest son home and my husband off work.
Today Gingerbread cookies were made and the last of the presents wrapped. I attended a very nice Christmas concert with my youngest son. He is playing the trumpet nice and loud!
We still have an ice rink. I hope to clear off the snow tomorrow and put a fresh coating of water over it.
Now I need to try very very hard to stay up until at least two thirty in the morning. My youngest daughter should be home by then she is on a school trip. I am sooo not even going near the bed!!!

We had an amazing snow storm today. It did not last too long but a lot of snow fell for a bit. It was very pretty. Funny time here Rain and wind in the night. Ice! so much ice in our yard deadly to walk on. We have a a busy time. Christmas tree hunting and the day out driving, Christmas shopping, Secrets, giggles, singing , laughing, baking cookies, eating chocolates and Birthday cake.
Today I put a few more decorations and baked some short bread. Right now we are putting a plate together for our bus driver.
My goalie has had very bad back ache today and yesterday. I have had him soak in Epsom salts.
Today our phone must have rung fifty times it was going on all day.
Well off to make some supper and ice some cookies.

This is a very, very bad Bull. His name is Bully and he is driving me crazy. He is wrecking everything!
Today we went to finish our Christmas shopping. It actually was not really that busy in the mall. What is amazing is the sales the stores are offering it is usually after Christmas when the stores give deals.
We had a hockey game also. Then tomorrow we are off to find our tree. However I am wondering how far we will be able to go it is really snowing out there.

No Snowflake ever falls in the wrong place. - Chinese proverb
Next time Snow is falling in your area take a close look, see each unique design and take pictures.
We still have snow however it is now covered with ice, very dangerous walking ice. And, our rink is still soooo good.
This weekend is our Christmas tree hunt. Can't wait.
