We saw this stump when we were walking on the weekend.
Today I weed eated most of the afternoon. I feel like I have done the whole forty acres. I am tired and very sore. The grass was up past my knees. If it had been a hay field we would have been haying. We walked to the river again. It has come down some more it still is too dangerous to go near though.

Seeing what we can see. On the weekend we hiked to the flag pole it was a lot of fun. I would like to do it again.

These two were having fun and being silly with the camera. Some of my kids have a large number of years between them. However it has not stopped them from being close. These two have five years separating them.

We need to have a lot of food around this house to fill all these kids.
Our weather has not improved and I read it is suppose to last another week. Today most of the day was spent trying to figure out money and bills. Then tonight we walked to the river . we absolutely froze on the way there. It has already gone down a bit since yesterday. Then tonight I went and smashed tiles that was until it was raining too hard and I had to come in. Now I am off to bed we are going to walk to the flag pole in town tomorrow.

Most people who have been married twenty two years receive flowers, jewelry etc. Me I received a beautiful gift of a very cute Moose. This is so I remember all my !!Meese!! My children affectionately call their Dad plus two sisters Moose. So to add to our Moose's dignity and to make him feel quite important, we made him French!
I will let you in on a little secret I so can not read that sign. Other than my love for France/Paris and the wonderful goods they have to offer. I absolutely have no understanding of the French language. I do however have a little french in my from my Dad's side of the family.

I love the picture of the sky here. This picture was taken on Mother's Day. Miss Nana was out to visit first thing today she was all inspired to paint a picture. Me I was inspired to finish painting my little house. I actually had paint dripping of the ceiling into my hair tonight. I also cemented in front of the little house. I hope it works and dries hard. Then I raked I do think the pine needles will never end.
My husband is off work again. Damn rain. Next I will be cursing that it is too hot and dry. It sure is stressful all we want to do is work enough to keep afloat.
I think it will be pretty busy until the end of June. We have fun days, dances, grad, school trips, grade six graduation, exams, house sitting....I could go on and on.
Well off to make more thinking plans for my little house.

What a busy weekend a lot was accomplished. Most of the painting done in my little Shed. Three shelves painted to today, Man were those awful to paint. Tomorrow I hope to rip out the old floor however I may wait until I decide on the roof. Our weather was horrible it dropped again to -4 last night. The day time today was quite nice however you can not call it hot.
My new flower bed is taking a beating. Miss Lulu has one aim and that is dig in the middle of the flower bed. I think she may have hid her bone in it. Now if she was a cute little dog it would not be a big deal. She is a big cute dog that wrecks anything in her path.
I really should be off to bed as morning comes so early. Have a pleasant sleep.

http://petitcreeklavender.blogspot.com/

Come over and have a peak.

By the way has anyone noticed I change the blog. I have wanted to switch for a long time but I was so scared I would never find my blog again.

The new picture is of Harry our Llama. He is our baby sitter.

Oh Man running two blogs is tricky. I so know I should not try to write in the evenings as I am just too tired to think. The day today went by very fast. I went to town and managed to find a whole truck load of cardboard. And now a new project begins. If I know it is going to work I will fill you all in. I am off to bed as I can hardly keep my eyes open. Have a wonderful night and stay warm.

Today I did manage get a bit of cleaning done. I filled the tractor bucket full of pine needles, dirt, rocks then Jordan took it up top for me. I am making more space for more lavender plants. Can you just imagine when everything is in full bloom. I can't wait. I do hope to get a bunch of things accomplished this weekend. So maybe if I make a list ... I will actually get it all done.

Tonight we had a house full of little boys plus all eight of us. The kids all played so nicely it did not seem to be that many. We had a wonderful amount of food, great presents which made made Sam very Happy. The weather could have been nicer but the boys still played very hard. Thank you to everyone who made Sam's day very special.

This was Dalt taken last Saturday when we took a trip to the Castle Fun park as part of Sam's birthday.
Today Sam I am turned 12 that is so hard to believe. He is our youngest and will always be every ones baby. It took all seven us to raise Sam, he has a part of Allan and I plus a little of each of his brother and sisters. So in turn that turned out one pretty cool kid.

This Lavender is not winter hardy where I live. I am however growing it in a pot. I would like to experiment with a few different plants to see if I can grow them here. Tonight I strained the dust, seeds and fine leaves out of my Lavender and then put it in a container to store it nice and dry. I am going to try much luck at seeds again. I have quite a few seeds that I harvested out of my own plants so I will cross my fingers and try my luck again.
I am trying to talk my Dad into building me a Distiller. I had to laugh my brother in law asked if I was going to make Moon shine. Nooo just Lavender oil. However if I was ever going to make whiskey I would have to learn to drink it first.

The last two days it has been cooler and quite wet. I really did not get too much done today. We did fit a 5km walk in. I bought birthday party stuff and helped my dad with the moving of the goat shelters, feeders and grain feeders. I paid my bills tonight. So I guess I did get some stuff done just nothing fun.
On Thursday we have another birthday then we get a lull until July. There has been a lot of cake around here.
