Today was a nice day I had coffee with mom and dad did chores went to town and went to spinning for a few hours then met mom and my oldest daughter for some Christmas shopping. Came home to chores, supper and a very, very cold house our house is only warm if we are home to keep the fire going. After supper back to town for hockey maybe someone will cancel it, maybe the ice will melt, maybe .... just dreaming.
I bought these lovely Christmas bulbs shaped like lights that are pink for our tree maybe I will take a picture of them to show you and our Christmas cards are very lovely they are different scenes of winter and horses. Every year I faithfully write out Christmas cards and then I often don't get them mailed. This year I will!!
At my spinning meeting I was very tempted to knit a toque so after I get these scarves down for my mom I will try a hat. Off to cook supper and to listen to Christmas music right now it is Charlie Brown music.

Aloha Sis,
I read your blog faithfully.
Did you get your makeup & smelly salt yet?
You could take some of the Maui Bath salt..sprinle it on the ice & it might melt..but if not ..the team will definately smell better!
I Miss everybody!

My solution for the kid that doesn't read is to get him a magazine subscription to something he loves. He'll have to read that! Once you get him started, he may read on his own. Then again, some people just aren't readers. My mother reads nothing but the local paper & the TV guide. Waddya do??
