I was being very brave with foot high boots on other wise I would not be caught with my feet in the ocean.
All through Campbell river they have these wonderful wood carvings. This one is of an Eagle
Enjoying some very good ice cream
On Sunday we lucked out we missed the power outage that put a lot of the island out of power. We also totally lucked out on the weather it was really quite beautiful it only started to rain after we went to bed the night before we came home. For our Sunday we were out on the beach before nine and we came in at around nine that night. Our cabin was right on the ocean so we could come and go all day we had a wiener roast, had turkey dinner the kids went into town for more ice cream. We played all day walked miles on the ocean found many, many bags of shells. looked at sea life. Oh it was incredible. So much fun. Funny thing was every time I went out to the beach to look for shells and walk I would get the start of a headache nothing too bad just enough to know it was there. Then when I would go in and it would stop. We went for a walk in the evening right up until it was too dark to see or actually until Nan spun out on a jelly fish. For those of you have never seen one it is just like after birth not nice at all!!!!!! so we tipped toed back to the fire had tea, played the guitar and sung took pictures and dyed our fire some real pretty colours.
